Located at the base of the Gabilan Mountain Range, the Glen Loma Ranch Community features 17 distinct neighborhoods with homes of various types and sizes. Miles of trails connect the community with amenities, including public schools, multiple parks, and a town center. Significant oak woodlands were preserved and integrated into the community via a network of multi-use trails, widened sidewalks, and on-street bike lanes. Community trails also connect to the city-wide trail network, providing residents with access to Gilroy recreational facilities and services without the use of their cars.

RJA’s urban land planners led the visioning, planning, and processing for this master planned community. The engineering team performed preliminary planning for the backbone infrastructure and grading and executed the civil engineering and surveying for site improvements, grading, and neighborhood street and utility infrastructure. Additionally, RJA performed construction staking and support for the onsite and offsite improvements.
PROJECT RESULTSGlen Loma Ranch now provides much needed housing for the area. Both schools are built and operating, and many of the trails and parks are open to the public. Glen Loma Ranch is a thriving and active community for the City of Gilroy.
