The Centre Pointe project transforms an existing industrial site into a mixed-use transit-oriented residential community south of the Milpitas Great Mall, near a new BART public transit station. The project brings the Milpitas community nearly 700 new dwelling units above much needed retail space.

RJA provided civil engineering and land surveying services for the redevelopment of this blighted industrial site into a new mixed-use podium style TOD community. Located in a FEMA flood zone, extra care was taken to raise the finish floor above the BFE and appropriately grade the surrounding land.
PROJECT RESULTS
At project completion, these new transit-oriented residential and retail uses will reduce the strain on vehicular traffic and improve the jobs-to-housing balance in the region.
